Katherine Elizabeth "Kate" Upton (born June 10, 1992) is a model and actress, known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Upton was named rookie of the year after his first appearance in 2011 and was the cover model of the problems of 2012 and 2013 it was the subject of Vanity Fair cover 100th anniversary.

Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan & raised in Melbourne, Florida. Kate Upton is the daughter of Shelley, a former tennis champion from Texas, and Jeff Upton, director of athletics in high school. His uncle is the representative Fred Upton (R-MI). Grandfather Upton, Frederick Upton, co-founder of the appliance manufacturer and marketer Whirlpool Corporation.

Upton attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. As a young horse, he showed the American Paint Horse Association and participated in a national pony Roanie level.With his horse won three World Championships APHA Reserve - 13 & Under Western Riding, 13 and under and 14 -18 Riding Western Riding. She was appointed Subject All-Around Champion and 13, a total of four championships of booking (2nd place). In addition, Upton ended up third overall on the APHA Top Twenty. With a 2nd horse, Zipped she won 14-18 Western horse & was included in the top 5 in 14-18 and 14-18 Western Pleasure Horse in 2009
